  1. My favorite birthdays always included a homemade strawberry cake made by my grandmother. My birthday is in the summer, so sometimes we'd go pick strawberries as a family, and then use some of the berries to make my cake. It seems so simple: strawberries, cake, and family, but these little joys are the ingredients to my favorite birthdays past.

  2. I got a really old car for my 16th birthday, but I was soooo happy. I was so excited to drive.

  3. My most memorable birthday is going camping at Yogi Bear park and Yogi coming to my campsite with a birthday cake.

  4. Most memorable was last year. I turned 40. Kinda a huge shock to wake up 40, but it beats the alternative. :)

  5. When I turned 50, my brother gifted me a week in the mountains by myself.

  6. Just had my 40th last year. My husband managed to plan a surprise party with all my old friends and family.

  7. My most memorable birthday was my 40th. My husband surprised me with a trip to a spa in Mexico with my girlfriend. It was an amazing trip.

  8. My 21st I had a big party at work and they made it a special day.

  9. My most memorable birthday was the day when my daughter surprised me with a trip to Vegas - she had purchased clothes for me and packed a bag and made arrangements for my youngest two to have a babysitter for the weekend!

  10. Snurette cake caused blue faces!

  11. My birthday is in December and as a child I always wanted a pool party. One year, my mom rented out a local hotel's indoor pool and had a surprise birthday party. It was so special to me and I will never forget it!

  12. I guess my 16th and 50th - while near was a complete surprise, may 16th was spent with lots of friends and my 50th was spent with family and close friends - why especially they stick out, I don't know, unless it was the milestones - ah, if I only knew at 16 what I knew at 50 - some changes would have been made.

  13. When my dad took me to a Garth Brooks concert

  14. My thirteenth birthday in Hawaii, which was years (eons) ago had a luau at hotel on Waikiki Beach and it was wonderful and this fresh thirteen year old got to dance with the male Hawaiian dancers was wonderful of course that was over 50 years ago, but still wonderful memory

  15. Last year my family threw a surprise birthday party for me and I loved it.

  16. My favorite or most memorable birthday had to be my 18th birthday. Went to the casino and played bingo with the family and then hung out w/friends.... ended more like a 21st birthday, but was quite fun.

  17. It was probably my 40th when my friends and family threw me a big surprise party.

  18. I can't think of any of my birthdays that were memorable. No birthday parties as a child and nothing special done as an adult.

  19. My most memorable birthday was my 18th.I got married on that day.It is now almost 19 years later and we are still together and have 4 beautiful children.

  20. My Husband got me a treasure finder,,, I had been wanting one for awhile.

  21. Mine would be my 21st birthday! I went out to a restaurant with my friends and had my first legal drink! Funny thing is I preferred a virgin daiquiri better than the actual one.
